We had a long day of driving 12 hours today. It was misty while driving through AR and OK. But when we got in Texas it started to clear up. And we are now in Santa Rosa, NM for the night at a Comfort Inn. In Texas we drove by a huge cross, with a sign saying it was the largest in the western hemisphere. Later on in Texas we saw these cars, about 7 or 8 buried tails up in the ground. I'd seen it before but can't remember what it's all about.
Had a beautiful sunset while driving in New Mexico. Very different countryside, but wouldn't want to live out here.
Should be in Calif. by tomorrow night.
Only two more days to go! Can hardly wait!
